Bowdoin College currently uses AT&T Service in order to take advantage of their corporate discount plans.
AT&T Discount for Bowdoin Employees', and their families/partner's Personal Service:
FOR NEW PERSONAL SERVICE:
Employees and their families/partners signing up for new service, get a minimum equipment discount of 20%, or promotional pricing, whichever is better and an additional 6% discount on service plans. Employees can also go to any AT&T store. You will need your Bowdoin College Employee ID with you for discount verification.

Web access for all Bowdoin employees to browse the latest offers and order your new equipment and service online for you and your family's personal use.
You will also need to provide the following account numbers to the AT&T representative: The foundation account number (or FAN for short) for employees is 94571 for TDMA phones and 94572 for GSM phones. (The AT&T representative will help you determine whether your phone is/will be TDMA or GSM). To speak to our representative at AT&T, please call 207-725-7210.
FOR EMPLOYEES WITH EXISTING CINGULAR WIRELESS SERVICE**:
If an existing AT&T user is not attached to the FAN and would like to get featured equipment and other special discounts, they can:
- Access our Cingular Wireless Bowdoin website**
- Call or visit the Cook's Corner Cingular store located next to Cumberland Farms (207-725-7210), provide the appropriate FAN (listed above) and identification as being an employee (family member, spouse or partner) of Bowdoin College. (The AT&T representative will help you determine whether your phone is TDMA or GSM).
**Please note: Users may upgrade equipment for promotional pricing online after fulfilling 11 months of a 12 month contract or 21 months of a 24 month contract. Upgrades prior to those contract dates MUST be processed at a Cingular Store (like the one located next to Cumberland Farms at Cook's Corner - 207-725-7210) or by calling National Business Ordering at 800-388-3235.
