Students
Students:
Students signing up for new service, get a minimum equipment discount of 20%, or promotional pricing, whichever is better and an 5% additional discount on service plans. Please talk with your local AT&T Service representative to select the best plan and equipment for your calling patterns. You will also need to provide the following account numbers to the AT&T representative: The foundation account number (or FAN for short) for students is 94577 for TDMA phones and 94579 for GSM phones. (The AT&T representative will help you determine whether your phone is/will be TDMA or GSM).

If you are an existing AT&T user and want to be attached to the FAN to get the bonus minutes and featured equipment discounts, call or visit the your local AT&T store, provide the appropriate FAN (listed above for students) and identification as astudent of Bowdoin College. (The AT&T representative will help you determine whether your phone is TDMA or GSM).
